Is this still necessary?
Covid doesn’t appear to be killing in the numbers it was. For example, back on April 9 2020 we experienced 5865 new Covid cases and 1152 deaths. August 27 2020 we experienced 1522 new cases and 12 deaths. So the proportion of people dying from Covid has dropped from 20 percent to <0.1 percent. Does this indicate that it is less lethal?

Mercedes-Benz Bromley (Beckenham): closed and empty.
I’m not sure whether this closure is due to Covid 19, but it looks permanent with two large concrete blocks in the driveway. If it is, I wonder if it will be replaced with residential buildings?
World Photography Day
It’s been raining all day and Karen has been sorting out some old stuff to take to the charity shop. I spotted these tealights to play about with.
Old bench, Beckenham High Street
There are lots of places to stop and sit in the High Street now and this one by Fairfield Road caught my eye. I wonder when it was placed there?
This was supposed to be a Portsmouth related photo – but not this week.
Backups save the day (partially)
Karen’s PC had a catastrophic failure last weekend. After reformatting the hard drive we got it working and loaded the last backup. Unfortunately that was January this year 😦 But hey – it could have been worse.
I felt a bit like this today.
